Prayer for Success
Saying a prayer for success: is it really a selfish and counterproductive request? Not if you are able to define success properly. Most of us, when we really think about it, realize that success is having loving friends and family and knowing that we are a part of something greater than ourselves. We equate success with money, and feel like failures when we don't have it, but remember: Jesus was homeless at times, and he ended up changing the entire course of history. So you see, success doesn't depend on how much worldly power or wealth you have. If you can go to sleep at night, knowing you gave it your absolute best, and rest in that knowledge, then you're already a success.
Your prayer for success can be read, for a small fee, at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, where Jesus was resurrected. Your prayer will be read by a monk and you will receive absolution from the priest. In Proverbs 11:25, it is written, "A generous person will be enriched, and one who gives water will get water." Clearly our true success will be multiplied when we help someone else succeed. When you have your prayer for success recited in Jerusalem, you will receive an authentic certificate bearing the church's stamp, attesting to your absolution. Prayers for success are not selfish if they're done in the spirit of making the world a better place.
